Join Our Team as a Polymers Process Technology and Pilot Plant Chemical Engineer!

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Support: Ensure safety and optimal performance of polymer lines. Troubleshoot issues and provide daily technical assistance to ensure reliable and high-quality operations.

Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical support, championing safety, environmental, quality, and reliability metrics. Mentor and train engineers and operators, providing strategic guidance aligned with business priorities.

Process Innovation: Identify and implement process improvement projects. Lead trials related to raw materials, cost savings, yield , quality, and new product commercialization. Generate and implement cost-saving ideas to optimize line performance and reduce costs.

Scale-up Excellence: Collaborate with stakeholders on growth projects. Plan and execute development trials, collect data, and ensure smooth transitions from pilot to full-scale production.

Capital Expertise: Drive and coordinate capital projects. Work with operations, planning, and scheduling teams to develop effective designs and communicate project scopes. Train operations teams and ensure successful project implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) or higher in Chemical Engineering required.

Three (3) or more years of manufacturing process development experience required.

Ability to lead and collaborate on team projects.

Effective communication

skills

with all levels of personnel.

Leadership abilities and a results-focused mindset.

Familiarity with industrial plant environments and equipment.

Demonstrated technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
