Job Description

Schedule:

Start Date: February 10, 2025

Shift: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), Monday through Friday

Duration: 10 weeks

Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required

Holiday Coverage: Required

Responsibilities:

Assist perioperative services in providing patient care across various age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Support the surgical team with pre- and post-operative patient needs

Float PRN to other perioperative service units as required

Ensure safety and infection control standards are followed

Requirements

Qualifications:

Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Experience: Preferred experience in acute care, skilled nursing, hospice, home healthcare, behavioral health, or related settings

Skills: Competency in patient care assistance, including 1:1 sitter experience, is a plus

Requirements:

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

COVID-19 vaccine not required

Completion of YouLearn Safety Fair and Infection Control competencies prior to floor assignment

Benefits

Compensation:

Base Pay Rate: $27.00/hour

Overtime after 12 hours/day and 60 hours/week

Additional Details:

Scrubs provided by the facility

No on-call requirements
