Certified Medical Assistant

Aspire Medical Staffing is in search of a Certified Medical Assistant and to extend our company's solid family reputation to the Naval Branch Health Clinic Albany.

Location:
Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Albany, 814 Radford Boulevard, Albany, GA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0730 and 1600.

Compensations:

• Base: $17.57/hour--take home
• H&W: $4.57/hour--allocated for medical, dental, vision, or cash in lieu of benefits
• Total Compensation (Base + H&W): $17.57+ $4.57= $22.14/hour
• PTO: up to 80 hours annually (accrued per pay period)
• Sick Leave: up to 56 hours annually (accrued per pay period)
• Federal Holidays Paid

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

Education:

• Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.

Experience:

• In addition possess a minimum of one-year full-time experience in the last three years as a CMA in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting.

Certification:

Current certification as a medical assistant by ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• American Registry of Medical Assistant (ARMA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• Must have BLS hands-on course through AHA or ARC

Citizenship:

• Must be a US citizen
