CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Duration:

4 Months with possibility to extend/convert

Day Shift:

12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)

What's the Job?

Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description.

Support electrical infrastructures throughout the datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones.

Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and conducting Power Interruption Testing (PIT).

Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns and PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements.

Maintain a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code and ensure compliance.

What's Needed?

All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.

Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers or hospitals.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls).

Able to work a flexible schedule which may include 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts.
