Catalog Operations Manager, GCOI

We are seeking a candidate with people and project management skills to join the Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) team.

As a crucial part of the Grocery Catalog organization, our team oversees the comprehensive Whole Foods Market on Amazon (WFMOA) catalog, Grocery partnerships (third-party sellers) operations, and Amazon Fresh grocery catalog management.

We're looking for a dynamic self-starter who excels in our fast-paced environment. In this role, the candidate would work closely with Program, Product, Business Intelligence and Tech teams across the Grocery Catalog org.

The candidate would be responsible for the HC planning, work/goal assignments, and productivity management for GCOI. The position is based out of Hyderabad, but the candidate will interact with leaders in NA and EU.

In this role, you'll immerse yourself in our dynamic environment, fostering strong partnerships across teams while managing diverse responsibilities. Your exceptional prioritization skills and adaptability will be essential as you join our results-driven team. Working alongside high-performing colleagues, you'll help shape and deliver strategic initiatives that directly enhance the customer and shopper experience.

Key job responsibilities

Lead a team of at least 8 catalog specialists, drive operational excellence and efficiency in their daily workflows.

Develop and track comprehensive performance metrics while optimizing end-to-end processes.

Build and mentor high-performing teams through strategic hiring and continuous development.

Ensure exceptional quality standards across all GCOI Ops deliverables.

Design and implement standardized procedures to enhance team productivity and output quality.

Foster clear, consistent communication channels with key stakeholders to drive alignment and results.

About the team

Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) supports Amazon?s WW Grocery Catalog through New Item Setup, Audits & Edits, SOP management, Data management, Process Automation, etc.

Basic Qualifications

Experience communicating and handling cross-functional programs including project stakeholders, technical program managers, and software development teams

Experience in managing critical operational processes, with SLA responsibility

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, especially MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint at an advanced level

Experience leading process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of team management experience

Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets

1+ years of program or project management experience

Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts
