Process Evaluation : Evaluating the consistent application of buying/sourcing procedures and processes will ensure compliance and efficiency, supporting overall procurement management.
6.
Negotiation Skills : Negotiating within the pre-approved alternative language framework will help secure favorable terms and conditions, benefiting the organization.
7.
Supplier Relationships : Developing effective relationships with suppliers aligned to Category Partner Lists will foster collaboration and ensure reliable supply chains.
8.
Tactical Sourcing Execution : Executing Tactical Sourcing, RapidSources, and eBids within the region will streamline procurement activities and enhance operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
1.
Proficiency in Data Analytics : Ability to discover, interpret, and communicate both qualitative and quantitative data, applying statistics and problem-solving approaches to extract meaningful business insights and enable data-driven decisions.
2.
Mastery of Procurement Policies and Tools : Comprehensive understanding of procurement policies and procedures, along with proficiency in using all necessary tools and document management systems to conduct procurement work effectively.
3.
Understanding of Source to Pay Principles : Knowledge of key principles in the Source to Pay process to ensure smooth execution of sourcing decisions, order placements, material/service acquisition, and timely supplier payments.
4.
Effective Sourcing Skills : Utilization of the purchasing functional system to support the Request For Quote process, establishing Total Cost of Ownership comparisons, and selecting suppliers that best meet company and customer needs.
5.
Supplier Tooling Management : Ability to manage supplier tooling strategy, ensuring accurate piece pricing and continuity of supply through proper use of Letters of Intent and bailment agreements, while maintaining inventory of company-owned tooling.
6.
Supply Base Risk Management : Skills in minimizing supplier risk by using risk analysis tools and mitigation strategies to manage continuity of supply, reputational risk, and margin risks, leveraging supplier selection and dual sourcing opportunities to prevent disruptions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
College, university, or equivalent degree in supply chain management or a related subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of related work experience required
