This role is an on-site position in our Atlanta, GA office, with a hybrid work scheduled. How will you make a difference as an Associate at Fragomen? Develop an expert-level understanding of your client base and the industries you support as well as the firm?s practice areas and services provided. Positioned as a senior member Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations. Identify and solve escalations and areas of the underperformance. Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy. Support clients in immigration program management and compliance. Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status. Work with client team, independently oversee, global mobility personnel to prepare petitions and manage assignments with minimal supervision. Utilize applications for submission to government agencies for non-immigrant and immigrant foreign national employees. Draft and prepare letters and legal precedents documents, typically based on established precedents. Conduct research to address specific support client situations or requests and develop creative solutions. Research complex technical immigration issues and formulate solutions, including completion of appropriate documentation. Independently execute case preparation and filing and develop strategies for complex matters. Articulate relatively complex issues to a variety of audiences. Understand the business strategy of the practice area and the firm as a whole. Build, strengthen, and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders in client accounts, as well as Partners and other relevant stakeholders, (e.g., take part in client meetings, briefings, workshops, Q&A sessions, proactively provide client reporting etc.).projects. Proactively communicate with clients, within SLAs/team protocols and with a precise, efficient, thoughtful, and organized response. Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects. Directly or indirectly supervise junior Associates and other staff, providing mentoring, coaching, mentoring and performance management. Ensure self coaching while proactively sharing immigration knowledge and team follow firm protocols with respect to file maintenance, record keeping and use of firm?s systems including data quality in Connect and other firm technology. Meet individual and team productivity goals and identify opportunities to cross sell or bill for out-of-scope services. Proactively identify expertise. Regularly seek out and implement opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization of with processes, products, or services. Proactively identify Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take part in marketing effectively implement guidance and business development opportunities.direction offered by supervisors and experienced colleagues. Use firm technology accurately and in line with team and client protocols, ensuring accurate and complete data is entered. Actively contribute to team meetings and firmwide activities.
