As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the business development team, developing growth strategies, generating new business leads, and fostering strategic partnerships. Your efforts will directly contribute to GAO Tek’s growth and success within the technology industry.

You will collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of business development activities. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to optimize team performance and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Business Development Team: Oversee and guide a team of business development professionals, ensuring effective execution of strategies, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop and Implement Growth Strategies: Create and execute innovative strategies to drive business expansion across various verticals. Provide suggestions and ideas for improvement, focusing on maximizing lead generation and partnership-building efforts.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and nurture new business opportunities through targeted lead generation activities, including cold emailing, outreach, and attending key industry events. Help the team generate qualified leads for the company’s products and services.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, including managing partnership opportunities and Tek Summit leads. Collaborate with partners to explore new business opportunities and expand GAO Tek’s market presence.
  • Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies. Use insights to inform business development initiatives and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong focus on the IoT sectors. Proven experience in leading teams, driving growth, and achieving business targets.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in business development or sales leadership is a plus.

Skills:

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a team of business development professionals. Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Sales and Lead Generation Expertise: Expertise in cold emailing, lead generation, and relationship building across industries. Hands-on experience with tools and techniques to generate and qualify leads.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and execute growth strategies, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitor landscapes.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic familiarity with IoT technologies and the ability to understand and communicate the value of GAO Tek’s products to potential clients and partners. An eagerness to learn about IoT solutions and effectively convey their benefits is essential.
  • Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: A motivated, goal-driven professional with the ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives while ensuring successful outcomes.
