International law firm BCLP, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified litigation associate with three to five years of experience to join its nationally recognized Business & Commercial Disputes practice in our Miami office. We offer the opportunity to defend global companies with complex, cutting-edge legal issues in all aspects of case development, including trial. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Demonstrated experience working on complex litigation matters. Experience drafting and responding to pleadings and motions. Experience in all stages of discovery, including taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to written discovery requests, issuing and responding to subpoenas, and handling discovery dispute motions. Experience arguing at hearings. Experience with appellate work and trial preferred but not required. Superior written and oral communication skills. A client-focused attitude. Strong academic credentials, highly developed research skills, the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously, superior work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
