Bricklayer

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of refractory products, is seeking a Bricklayer/Refactory Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, farming, masonry, landscaping, or carpentry, as these skills align well with the requirements of the position. Must also HSD or GED, valid driver lic and own transportation.

Job Title: Refactory Technician

Location: Reading PA

Pay Range: $22/hr

What?s the Job?

Reading and interpreting refractory lining drawings; using brick saw and bricklaying equipment to lay brick up in ladles, furnaces, tundishes, etc.- handle bricks by hand for multiple hours at a time - perform plug changes, repair slide gates, etc.; teaching installation procedures to and providing guidance to correct procedures.?

Performing all types of refractory installation methods, including gunite, pouring, ramming, pumping, ceramic fiber and firebrick installation

Other duties as assign

What?s Needed?

High school diploma or GED

Driver's License (required) / Own transportation

OSHA 10 (preferred, )

Forklift Certified (preferred)

Ability to read, understand and communicate in English ?
