Job Description
Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a Brake Operator to join their team. As a Brake Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Brake Operator
Location: Stockton, CA
Pay Range:
$22-23/hr
Shift:
Day Shift Monday-Friday
What's the Job?
Run out set ups that have been proven and make minor changes in tooling and machine controller to maintain tolerance on very specific dimensions.
Measure dimensions accurately using dial calipers, squares, and protractors.
Maintain cleanliness in the department, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment as needed.
Assist higher-level operators with material handling and large parts to ensure smooth workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations.
What's Needed?
Requires 1-year working experience in a precision sheet metal environment with a minimum of 6 months as a Brake Operator.
Available to start as early as 4:30am
Ability to read and understand written documents.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
Willingness to assist others and take on various tasks as needed.
