As a BIM Coordinator at AMCON, you will be essential in managing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and enhance the collaboration and coordination of project teams through the use of BIM technologies. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of 3D models and ensure that all project stakeholders have the necessary tools and information to achieve project goals. Your expertise in BIM software and best practices will contribute to the efficiency and success of our construction projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate BIM processes throughout project life cycles
• Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and project managers to develop and maintain accurate 3D models
• Ensure that BIM standards are adhered to and updated as necessary
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams
• Provide training and support to project team members on BIM software and tools
• Manage BIM documentation and oversee model version control
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents derived from BIM models
• Identify areas of improvement in BIM processes and propose solutions
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and advancements to enhance project outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination or related roles
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) with a strong understanding of 3D modeling
• Knowledge of construction processes, standards, and codes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results

Benefits

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
