Royalty Medical Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Billing Lab Manager to lead our laboratory billing department. In this role, you will oversee all billing and coding operations within the lab, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. You will manage the billing team, streamline billing processes, and work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve any billing issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in optimizing revenue cycle management for our lab services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the lab billing team, providing training and support as needed
• Ensure accurate coding and billing of laboratory services
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and insurance regulations
• Review and resolve billing discrepancies and claim denials
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies and healthcare providers regarding reimbursement issues
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Analyze billing data and generate reports to assess performance and identify improvement areas
• Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for maximizing revenue

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of laboratory billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
• Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance issues
