We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our creditor?s rights legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing bankruptcy cases, ensuring compliance with legal procedures, and providing support throughout the bankruptcy case and bankruptcy related litigation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing bankruptcy related filings (i.e. proofs

of claim, stay relief motions, and objections in the chapter 11 and 7 context)

Gather and organize relevant information for cases

Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up to date

Communicate with clients, debtors? counsel, and court personnel as needed

Prepare and review legal documents, including motions and briefs

Assist in the discovery process and manage deadlines

Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy local rules and procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting

Florida Registered Paralegal certification preferred but not required

Strong knowledge of, and experience working within, bankruptcy process and procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in legal research and document management software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
