Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Our client is currently seeking associate candidates to support our San Francisco Office's Insolvency and Financial Law Group. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of solid bankruptcy and other restructuring experience, as well as be licensed to practice in California and possess strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Bankruptcy litigation experience, such as with preference defense, is also desirable. For 80 years, our client?has successfully represented clients in complex proceedings throughout the country in all economic climates. They have many years of experience representing virtually every type of player in financial litigation and reorganization cases: secured lenders, landlords, unsecured creditors, creditor and equity committees, trustees, buyers of assets out of bankruptcy, and contract counter-parties. • Handle complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters from inception through resolution
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Participate in bankruptcy litigation, including preference defense matters
• Support negotiations and strategy in financial restructuring cases
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients on high-stakes matters

• 3?7 years of bankruptcy, insolvency, or restructuring experience
• Active California Bar license (required)
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Experience in bankruptcy litigation (preference defense a plus)
