Bander/Forklift Driver

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the roofing industry, is seeking a Bander/Forklift Driver to join their team. As a Bander/Forklift Driver, you will be part of the production team supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bander/Forklift Driver

Location: Temple, TX

Pay Range:

$18 hourly

What's the Job?

Package and haul away finished roofing bundles with a forklift.

Assist in retrieving coils for upcoming production runs.

Stock the area with required packaging supplies and maintain cleanliness.

Apply packaging materials including cardboard, logo wrap, edge protectors, and steel banding.

Assist operators with placement of support lumber and manage roller pallets.

What's Needed?

Proven experience in forklift driving, both conventional and side loader.

Ability to operate banding tools and follow safety guidelines.

Minimal reading ability to understand tags and instructions.

Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions.

Forklift and overhead crane training required.
