We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to build and scale high-performance backend systems that power real-time voice workflows and product APIs. This role focuses on delivering low-latency, highly reliable services while operating in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment. You will work extensively with modern backend technologies and leverage AI-assisted development to ship robust solutions quickly and efficiently. Requirements Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services for real-time voice workflows and APIs
Build systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for low latency
Handle concurrency, distributed workloads, and system reliability challenges
Optimize application performance through profiling, debugging, and database tuning
Work with WebSockets, queues, and asynchronous processing frameworks
Ensure high availability and resilience across production systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features
Take full ownership of services, proactively identifying and resolving issues

Requirements

2?4 years of backend development experience
Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in FastAPI preferred
Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, WebSockets, queues, and distributed systems
Experience building production-grade systems that handle scale, concurrency, and failures
Strong debugging, performance profiling, and database query optimization skills
Familiarity with real-time systems and event-driven architectures
