Our client, a leader in high-end automotive restoration/customization is seeking an

Automotive CMF Designer

to join their team. As an Automotive CMF Designer, you will be part of the design team supporting Sales and high-end Clients. The ideal candidate will have

outstanding communication skills, minimum of 5 years experience with automotive CMF design and a professional portfolio available for review,

which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automotive CMF Designer

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Pay Rate:

$100K - $130K D.O.E.

What?s the Job?

Design and develop color and materials for both exterior and interior of upcoming vehicles, and be able to evaluate color, texture, gloss and finishes while collaborating directly with suppliers as necessary.

Manage Client Relations and walk through build journey from beginning and create a Client Journey Manual. Interact with clients to ensure all clients? build specs are selected and delivered accurately.

Follow development of color and materials from concept through approval, ensure production updates and manage communication with Clients.

Build relationships and communications with clients to ensure that their satisfaction is met and address any concerns or issues a client may have and work with the team to resolve them.

Must maintain an awareness of developments in related fields, research design and styling trends and comply with regulatory and feasibility requirements.

What?s Needed?

Candidates must submit a portfolio or will not be considered.

Minimum 5 years of experience in CMF design (preferably in automotive).

A degree in industrial design or related field preferred.

Experience in developing production color and material proposals for exterior and interior and extreme attention to detail.

Excellent phone etiquette, excellent communication skills, excellent problem solving and ability to work independently with little supervision.
