Auto Dealership General Manager

Automotive General Manager - Riverside Auto, a family-owned Dealer Group, seeks an experienced Automotive General Manager.

Riverside Auto of Escanaba, Michigan is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on General Manager with at least 2 years' experience as a GM to join the team. Use your knowledge and skills to operate all aspects of the dealership, with heavy emphasis on variable operations. We need an "out-of-the office" closer, trainer and leader to take this dealership to the next level. Show us your record of success and grow with us!

A qualified candidate must have a proven track record of success, and will be expected to:

• Oversee the daily operations of the dealership and ensure profitability
• Work closely with Sales Managers to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits
• Ensure a high passion for customer retention and CSI
• Be transparent in leading all operations
• Recruit, develop, and maintain talent through exceptional leadership skills
• Invoke a positive working environment and sales culture
• Provide coaching and guidance practices to department managers
• Coordinate with office staff to ensure records and analysis are accurate

Salary: $8000/month plus Bonus

Requirements

• Proven success in a General Manager Role is required
• 2-5 years prior automotive General Management experience required
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Foster a high energy sales team through hiring, training, and developing new talent
• Possess a strong understanding of profit and loss statements
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills
• Goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Valid driver's license required as well as clean driving record
• Professional appearance and work ethic
