Job Description
BakerHostetler is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Business Group. The successful candidate will join our team of more than 65 Real Estate lawyers spread across our Real Estate and Community Development teams, representing lenders and borrowers in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including complex, high-stakes projects around the country.
Qualifications Include:
3-5 years of experience handling a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development transactions
Real estate finance experience is a plus, but not required
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and/or financing documents
Experience with all aspects of real estate diligence review, including title and survey review, corporate governance and authority review, opinion review and negotiation
Am Law 100 experience is strongly preferred
A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
Must be admitted to practice in Georgia, eligible to waive admission to the Georgia Bar or willing to sit for the Georgia Bar Exam
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes:
