Requirements

Associate Project Accountant: This is where you come in.

We're seeking an Associate Project Accountant to support accurate budgetary documentation for MMFS projects while assisting Project Accountants and Contract Coordinators with daily tasks. This role requires a solid understanding of change orders, payroll, and invoice documentation. The ideal candidate will also collaborate effectively with suppliers and vendors to ensure financial accuracy.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Seamlessly support team members in managing and organizing document workflows.
  • Proactively collect outstanding invoices to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Accurately process transfers to ensure smooth project transitions.
  • Efficiently handle the setup of new jobs and changes to existing orders.
  • Process subcontractor invoices with precision and timeliness.

The Associate Project Accountant reports directly to Joshua Graves, Project Accounting Supervisor , and collaborates within a dynamic team dedicated to supporting our expanding business. This high-impact role offers significant visibility and involves engagement with individuals across all levels and departments of the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

  • A proven history of producing accurate and reliable financial documentation.
  • Expertise in applying GAAP principles and utilizing accounting software effectively.
  • A 24-year degree in accounting or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar role.

Benefits

Compensation: $25-$33 per hour
