Job Description
Qualifications Include:
3-5 years of experience in a wide variety of M&A transactions
M&A experience should include performing and overseeing due diligence, managing specialists, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and coordinating closings and post-closing matters
Solid working knowledge of general corporate law and related matters, including choice of entity and entity formation and governance
Experience in other corporate or transactional matters, such as joint ventures and/or commercial contracts
Am Law 100 experience is strongly preferred
A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
Must be admitted to practice in Georgia, eligible to waive admission to the Georgia Bar or willing to sit for the Georgia Bar Exam
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes:
o Effective and persuasive communication skills; law review or other comparable experience indicating significant research and writing skills and initiative a plus
o Ability to manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
o The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment and exercise good judgment in client service
