Associate positions offered by Paul Hastings LLP (New York, NY). Serve the best interest of each of the firm's clients and represent them in their high stakes disputes in U.S. federal and state courts, U.S. domestic arbitrations, and international arbitrations. Assume responsibilities as one of the senior members of the firm and supervise associates, paralegals, and other professional staff, as well as assist senior colleagues with forming and executing strategies. Mentor more junior associates in the firm's Litigation Department. Help the firm develop business.

Minimum

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a Juris Doctor or foreign equivalent degree and 6 years of experience representing clients in litigation matters.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Performing legal research and writing;
- Managing and producing discovery;
- Taking and defending depositions, including interviewing and examining witnesses;
- Making oral arguments;
- Supervising a team of lawyers and other professional staff; and
- Performing client management.

Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York.

Must be willing to travel domestically 10%

Position reports to New York, NY office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with firm policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be obtained prior to completion of JD degree.

We are offering a salary of $420,000 to $435,000 per year.
