What you'll do

The Associate Head, Corporate Finance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate IFRS standards and regulatory requirements
• Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Own the investor relationship and management, coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, research technical accounting issues for compliance, and support the month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Advise on multi-geography organization wide structuring.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Drive creation and implementation of all processes including ERP implementation have end-to-end compliances across the company and adherence across the organization.
• Work closely with the operations manager and act as finance advisor to bridge the gap between operations team and accounting team

• 6 to 8 years of experience in finance of which 4+ years are in areas payment/fintech/insurance/marketplace.
• Experience in investor relations, capital restructuring, fund management, financial statements, cost control & management.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is a plus
• Must be comfortable working in an early stage to growth stage company and should be able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Have a proven track record of success in previous roles and have worked in a similar setting, such as a Pre series A-B company will be a plus
• A leader who takes fun in taking risks and understands that taking calculated risks is necessary for growth. They should have the ability to balance risk-taking with sound decision-making to build something innovative and groundbreaking
• Strong knowledge of corporate (Companies Act 2013), commercial and IP laws, industry practices, corporate policies & procedures.
• Should have handled finance & accounts teams in a consumer-facing company.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Superior analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues.
• Strong communication skills both spoken and written are a must.
• Excellent business acumen, problem-solving ability, tech-savvy.
• Should be self-starter, result-oriented, and have a strong bias for action.
