Position description

The Assistant Project Scientist will engage in significant and creative contributions to the research programs of the Vision Science Division under the supervision of Alex Huk, Ph.D. Specifically, the incumbent will be researching cortical mechanisms of spatial vision. The appointee will be responsible for supervising and mentoring trainees, contributing to the planning and execution of current research projects, conducting data analysis, and preparing manuscripts and grant applications.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

Doctorate (M.D. or Ph.D.) in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field.

Additional qualifications

Experience researching cortical mechanisms of spatial vision.
