The anticipated salary range on hire for this role is: Grade N32: $111,948 - $170,811Grade N27: $91,058 - $133,517Grade N24: $80,070 - $103,00WHO WE AREThe Office of the County Attorney provides legal advice and services to County departments, agencies, boards, and commissions, as well as the County Council, in all aspects of government operations. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORThe Office is looking for an attorney to represent the County Government in tax and procurement matters before State, Federal, and local administrative agencies and courts; draft and review agreements, legislation, regulations, and other legal documents; conduct negotiations; prepare and issue legal opinions; and collect debts owed to the County.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The full-time attorney for the Office of the County Attorney?s Division of Finance and Procurement will act as counsel to County departments, including primarily the County?s Office of Grants Management, as well as others, requiring legal advice on procurement, commercial, grant, tax, and finance matters, including representing the County before administrative bodies and State and federal courts, as may be needed.The position requires the ability to attend meetings, in person and virtually, or perform work at locations outside the office.
