Kind of Work

The St. Louis County Attorney is seeking an experienced criminal prosecutor with excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully handle the challenges of daily litigation.

Duties include charging and preparing all levels of adult criminal offenses for trial or resolution in the interest of justice. Courtroom advocacy experience, a demonstrated commitment to public service, integrity, and passion for justice are highly desired attributes.

Salary is commensurate with experience. The 2025 starting salary range is $75,171 and can be as high as $164,632 with 14 years of experience.

Vacation accruals range from 5.75 - 9.5 hours every two weeks, commensurate with experience as a practicing attorney.
