Job Description

The West Virginia Attorney General's Office seeks a full-time attorney to represent state agencies in our Health and Human Services Division in the Eastern Panhandle. Candidates will primarily be responsible for litigating matters in federal, state and administrative courts. Additional work may include researching and drafting briefs, writs, and motions before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and Intermediate Court of Appeals.. Additional work may be assigned to this attorney as needed. Strong written and oral advocacy skills are required to be successful in this position. The position is located in Martinsburg, WV; however, other locations in the state will be considered if it is feasible.

Candidates must have an active WV license or be eligible for admission.
