Auria is in search for an AI/Machine Software Developer in Camp Pendleton, CA area!
This is currently a contingent position
The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) provides 24/7 global technical support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems; and conducts engineering, testing and evaluation, and supports experimentation on C5I systems and amphibious platforms to inform acquisition decisions and make the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) more capable.
This contract will provide Data Management and Cybersecurity services to support the command's mission of Testing, Engineering, Integration, and Sustainment of the Marine Corps C5ISR Programs of Record.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000
Tasks:
- Apply industry standards, data strategies and governance, data cataloguing, and DataOps practices for tactical systems.
- Enhance current AI/ML strategies.
- Assess and provide recommendations for survivable Edge Computing solutions that support deployment/employment of AI and ML to the tactical edge.
- Build security practices and tools into edge deployments.
- Validate AI commercial vendor products.
- Develop deep learning models.
- Translate operational needs into ML requirements.
- Evaluate and assess ML model performance.
- Identify and assess bias in externally developed models.
- Conduct statistical data analysis.
- Develop the user interface for deploying ML models.
- Leverage a cloud infrastructure for developing and deploying ML models.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Experience in applying AI to practical comprehensive technology solutions.
- Experience with AI/ML deep learning and Python.
- Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and AI/ML best-practice patterns.
- Experience using AI/ML learning techniques (large language models, clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.).
- Active Security Clearance - Secret
Desired Quals:
- Three or more years of experience in applying AI to practical comprehensive technology
- solutions.
- Three or more years of experience with AI/ML deep learning and Python.
- Knowledge of advanced algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and AI/ML best-practice patterns.
- Three or more years of experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
