At our clinic, we pride ourselves on being a haven of diversity and inclusivity, where you'll play a key role in offering expert cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, and microneedling. This full-time, 40-hour per week position, reporting administratively to the Director of Operations and clinically to the Medical Director, includes some evening and weekend shifts. What you would do:

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic goals, recommend suitable treatments, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols.
• Assess each client's unique facial anatomy, skincare type and concerns, and desired outcome to safely and expertly administer a range of aesthetic treatments, including, but not limited to:

1. Injectable neurotoxins and fillers
2. Broadband light (BBL) and nonabrasive laser (Moxi) treatments
3. SkinPen microneedling
4. Educate clients on treatment process including pre and post treatment guidelines, personalized skincare and product recommendations, and together develop ongoing customized treatment plans.

• Proactively, within the context of individual client needs, cross-sells other aesthetic products and services on a consultative basis.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews that include taking a medical history, explaining risks and benefits, and obtaining signed consent for procedures.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client's needs, preferences, and treatment details and progress in client treatment record.
• Maintain documented and photographic records in the electronic medical record system of before and after photos/client progress
• Conduct client visits, examinations, and treatments according to accepted standards of care and within the definitions of the Texas Nursing Practice Act.
• Provide exceptional customer service to establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure overall satisfaction while growing practice and retaining clients.
• Monitor and maintain all equipment, ensuring its cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Ensure the upkeep, stock and cleanliness of treatment rooms, including communication with management on all necessary items needed for treatments.
• Accurately and consistently track injectable, disposable, and retail stock, coordinating with management to ensure adequate stock of each.
• Exhibit commitment to a learning culture, including remaining informed and up to date on the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in laser technology, injectables, and other aesthetic procedures.
• Communicate appropriately and tactfully with staff, clients, partners, and community.
• Actively engage in a quality improvement culture within department/organization and participate in identified quality improvement activities.
• Participate in staff, planning, in-service, and other meetings as needed.
• Learn and maintain a basic knowledge of the other services offered by Texas Health Action and provide contact information to patients upon request.
• Practice client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policy.
• In conjunction with the marketing department, be a social media superstar, sharing success stories and positive vibes across social media platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Based on job duties and requirements, this position is placed in salary grade 46 with a base pay range of $35 to $38.35 hour, not including quarterly bonuses. Initial placement within this range will be based on the hired candidate's qualifications and relevant experience

Requirements

Your previous work life and education must include:

Active and unrestricted RN nursing licensure that is valid in the state of Texas

Current BLS-CPR for healthcare providers certification from AHA or Red Cross

Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations

2+ years of experience as an Aesthetic/Cosmetic Injectorand certification of injector training

2+ years client care experience in an outpatient clinic setting with marginalized populations

Your previous work life and education ideally include:

Bilingual English/Spanish

2+ years of experience in working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ and other marginalized populations

3+ years of direct, hands-on experience in medical spa procedures including lasers, injections, and microneedling

Proven expertise in administering cosmetic injectables specifically for the transgender community, with a deep understanding of the unique aesthetic goals and considerations in gender-affirming treatments.
