Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting functions including managing sales tax, accounts receivable accounts. Additionally, the role involves maintaining financial records, ensuring the accuracy of ledger accounts. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the organization's financial success.

Sales Tax:

• Prepare and file sales tax returns in compliance with state and local regulations for multiple states.
• Maintain accurate records of sales tax transactions and ensure timely payment.
• Monitor changes in sales tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Process journal entries for all sales tax/registration tag & title transactions.

Accounts Receivable

• Prepares and processes daily and monthly journal entries.
• Monthly reconciliation of various bank accounts.
• Monthly review and audit of various balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.

All other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.

Proficiency in dealership software

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work with multiple personalities as a team member.
