Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all financial regulations. This position will assist with the preparation of financial reports and maintain the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, leadership skills, and experience in building a team.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Coordinate the year-end audit process and work with external auditors to ensure timely completion.

Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, consolidations, and general ledger entries.

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal control policies.

Oversee and perform monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.

Evaluate and implement improvements in accounting processes, systems, and controls to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Evaluate and document accounting policies and procedures and recommend updates or improvements.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role or similar position.

Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards including ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 842.

SOX and SEC reporting experience a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000
