Job Description

Jefferson Wells is partnering with our Energy Industry client in Houston to find a Staff Level Accounting Analyst to assist with the Reconciliation of Inventory

Location: Houston TX (Hybrid: 3 days on-site; 2 days virtual)

Duration: 6 months, with possibility of converting to permanent employment

Pay Range:

$25 ? 35/hour W2 (negotiable depending on experience)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for ensuring operational and financial systems reconcile at a detailed level for inventory positions

Work with the inventory team, cross functional teams, and IT to identify process and system improvements, factoring in the strategic plan of the Division and new business development

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in accounting/finance

Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations

Energy Industry experience would be nice to have, but not required
