At Fervor, we use our marketing trade to impact the world for good. We're a strategy-first agency that partners with nonprofits and purpose-driven brands to align their message, clarify their voice, and move their mission forward. And right now, we're looking for an experienced Account Manager to help us do just that.
The Role
This isn't just about managing projects. It's about stewarding relationships. You'll serve as a guide, advocate, and strategic sounding board for our clientshelping them stay aligned to their goals while ensuring Fervor's creative and strategy teams have what they need to deliver excellent work.
You'll be the glue between vision and execution, helping faith-driven organizations see big results from bold marketing. If you're a relationship-builder, a strategic thinker, and someone who gets excited about serving people doing meaningful workyou might be who we're looking for.
Requirements
What You'll Do
- Lead with purpose: Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with Fervor's nonprofit and faith-based clients.
- Meticulously detail-oriented and fiercely timeline-driven: proactively manage all aspects of projects coordinating daily communication, leading meetings, tracking deliverables and budgets ensuring on-time delivery and clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Drive results: Proactively spot opportunities for growth, offer new ideas, and guide clients toward solutions that serve their goals.
- Steward well: Ensure profitability, protect the agency's resources, and advocate for both client and team success.
- Support the big picture: Collaborate with our Director of Client Services and cross-functional team to keep projects moving and impact growing.
Who You Are
You've managed accounts at an agency or creative shop and know how to balance multiple priorities without breaking a sweat. You speak client just as well as you speak creative. You know how to bring clarity in chaos. You love making a planand watching it come to life.
You Might Be a Great Fit If:
You have 5+ years in an agency or consulting role
You are tech-savvy and detail-obsessed
You've worked with nonprofits or faith-based organizations (bonus!)
You're an excellent communicatorwritten, spoken, and in a room
You know how to manage up, speak truth in love, and say "no" with confidence
You're curious, collaborative, and bring a "we > me" mindset
You see problems before they happenand already have a plan
Key Tools + Skills We Use (and Hope You Know):
Project management software like Asana
Time tracking tools like Harvest
Collaboration via Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom
Experience managing multiple relationships while prioritizing the cultivation of strong, trust-based partnerships
Ability to facilitate internal and external meetings with clarity and presence

Based in Kansas City, MO (hybrid: 12 days/week in office)
