Our Partnership team focuses on acquiring brand partnersand driving revenue growth within existing and new partnerships across the BiggerPockets portfolio.
We prioritize high growth brands across every sales category, from consumer to B2B and everything in between that are looking to achieve a variety of marketing goals by tapping into the BiggerPockets audience.
We're seeking a self-starter, with strategic digital media relationships and experience who can grow existing business and drive new business through consultative & solutions-based selling.
You will be expected to relentlessly navigate & network to decision-makers and constantly seek to surpass revenue goals and internal expectations
This is not a typical sales role. Just as we provide the best daily experience to our community, we work tirelessly to understand the marketing goals of our advertisers to develop creative and tailored campaigns that WOW our brand partners without jeopardizing the quality of our voice and brand.

Our positions are remote ; however, if you are local to Denver, CO, feel free to work from the office whenever you?d like.

Role Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, pitching and closing a high volume of new partners to drive net-new revenue for BiggerPockets digital properties through consultative selling. This will require a heavy outbound sales approach
  • Relationship management, including upselling and renewing business within existing partnerships
  • Performing strategic planning and ownership of your own book of business including account prioritization, organization and forecasting
  • Exceed personal and team revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Educate potential brand partners on BiggerPockets ad offerings, weaving together multiplatform activations across audio, branded content, events, newsletters, & video sponsorships.
  • Understand and utilize specific data and audience insights that define BiggerPockets audience
  • Prospect & outreach to stakeholders within the assigned responsibility
  • Forecast, track and report on sales performance, meeting quarterly targets set by management.


Your Skills & Experience

  • 2 - 5 years of integrated media sales experience (minimum of 2+ years sales experience in digital media, advertising, or marketing role) with an emphasis on selling branded content.
  • Fluent in driving multiple streams of revenue across Newsletters, Podcasts, Social, Events, Content Creators and Video platforms
  • History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas as a result of the sale of complex deals.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Strong foundation in client presentations and meetings. You will be expected to quickly initiate quality conversations, set discovery meetings, create proposals, and/or other immediate revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and digital media operations. This includes researching, prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Ability to lead and close an a full partnership sales process, creating tailored partner proposals that include: native digital content, audio integrations, long-form content, social media & virtual event sponsorships.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Creativity is also a must.
  • Ambitious, resourceful and driven. Taking the initiative to deliver beyond the expectation.
  • Passion for and belief in BiggerPockets, its mission and its franchises and products.


Compensation

  • This role has a base salary of $64,500 + commissions. Potential earnings in your first year are estimated to be between $75,000 - $150,000.
