In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Support Manufacturing Needs : Perform skilled activities that directly contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing process.

Ensure Safety : Adhere to and promote Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Maintain Quality : Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest quality.

Equipment Management : Select and use appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment, and support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.

Training and Coaching : Work independently and instruct or coach others, sharing your knowledge and expertise to improve team performance.

Preventive Maintenance : Perform and document preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations.

Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement activities, identifying and reducing manufacturing constraints, solving problems, and improving processes.

Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with your team and support staff, actively participating in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to enhance quality, safety, and process efficiency.

Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Beneficial Experience:

Proven hands-on experience with electrical and PLC systems

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with an ability to quickly diagnose and repair machinery.

Comprehensive knowledge of HSE fundamentals, including LOTO processes, machine guarding, and electrical safety.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.

Ability to meet equipment uptime, MTTR, and MTBF performance targets.

Willingness to learn and develop in an ever-evolving technical environment.

Experience collaborating with engineering teams (Controls and Manufacturing Engineers) to address complex issues and drive improvements.

Experience working in an automotive or assembly line manufacturing facility.

Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Competency in using and maintaining various tools and equipment required for electrical and mechanical maintenance.
