Kelley Drye & Warren?s New York office is seeking rising second-year law students to join our 2026 Summer Program. Our summer program offers a hands-on, fast-paced experience designed to provide valuable legal exposure while helping you explore a wide range of practice areas. As a summer associate, you'll be assigned to individual matters through our Recruiting Department, giving you the opportunity to work on assignments across various legal specialties throughout the summer. Each project will challenge you, provide real-world experience, and allow you to contribute meaningfully to client matters. Training and development are core components of the Kelley Drye summer experience. Our dedicated training programs are tailored to ensure your success during the summer and beyond. You'll have access to both in-house and external industry experts who will present on topics such as legal writing, negotiations, case management, and business development. While formal training is important, we believe the best learning comes from direct experience. With intentionally small summer associate class sizes, you'll have plenty of opportunities to work closely with senior associates and partners, gaining valuable mentorship and insight. Additionally, we offer shadowing opportunities to allow you to accompany our attorneys to court or client meetings. What truly sets Kelley Drye apart, however, is the people who work here. We prioritize creating lasting connections for our summer associates, both within the office and outside of it. Our social events are designed to provide ample opportunities to explore New York City and build relationships with the people who make Kelley Drye a unique place to practice law.
