To do this job well, you should have a good understanding of investments and financial information. You should also be good at building relationships with clients and paying attention to detail.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Helping the wealth manager research market trends and create investment plans.
- Talking to clients on behalf of the wealth manager.
- Providing information about products and services to clients and the wealth manager.
- Solving client problems with the help of the wealth manager.
- Completing investment-related paperwork, like applications and withdrawal forms.
- Creating customized investment presentations for current and potential clients.
- Analyzing financial statements and market trends, and making reports for the wealth manager and clients.
- Doing administrative tasks, like answering client emails and requests.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in finance, economics, management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Certifications like CFP and CFA are helpful.
- Good at thinking analytically.
- Able to understand and explain complex financial and investment information.
- Know a lot about investments, taxes, and financial planning.
- Good at math.
- Self-motivated, confident, and hardworking.
- Great at using Excel and PowerPoint and making presentations.
- Can work independently.
