Job Description

We are currently seeking a warehouse manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. This includes overseeing tasks such as picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will also be responsible for training, evaluating, and rewarding staff, as well as ensuring the proper maintenance of company assets.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have strong leadership skills and be dedicated and competent in your work.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Motivating and disciplining staff.
  • Maintaining documentation and accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Keeping track of fleet vehicle locations and conditions.
  • Assisting with deliveries as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to operate a forklift effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great people skills.
  • The availability to work extended hours.
