Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Check and examine patients to diagnose their health issues
- Do lab tests to find out what sickness a patient may have
- Use imaging and ultrasound to see inside a patient's body
- Perform surgeries, dress wounds, and give medicine to help patients get better
- Encourage pet owners to do regular checkups and give vaccinations to prevent sickness
- Take care of patients' teeth by doing checkups, cleaning, and removing teeth if needed
- Put animals to sleep if needed
- Follow the rules and laws for veterinarians and keep good records of patients
Requirements and Qualifications
