We are looking for a tax manager who is motivated and organized to make sure our clients' tax documents are prepared and filed on time. Your job will involve finding solutions for any potential tax problems, staying updated on new tax laws, and informing our team about any changes. You should also be able to give advice on tax planning, research, and compliance.

To do this job well, you will need to be able to handle multiple projects efficiently. In the end, a great tax manager will be able to find new opportunities to bring in more clients for our company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Create tax strategies to help clients follow tax laws.
  • Identify tax issues and come up with solutions.
  • Prepare responses and schedules for income tax audits.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws.
  • Review tax returns.
  • Inform our team about any changes in tax laws.
  • Supervise members of the tax team to make sure tax returns are correct.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • Proven experience as a tax manager, public accountant, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with different tax software.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
