Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Setting up and maintaining the computer network, including hardware, system software, and applications.
  • Ensuring that data is securely stored and regularly backed up.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues as they arise.
  • Replacing and upgrading faulty or outdated components when needed.
  • Monitoring system performance to ensure smooth and secure operations.
  • Researching and suggesting new ways to improve the computer network.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Information Systems or Information Technology.
  • Microsoft MCSE certification or similar.
  • Prior experience in administering server-side technology and computer networks.
  • Familiarity with SQL and databases.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Availability to address emergency issues outside of regular working hours.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Patient and professional attitude with a can-do approach.
