We are looking for a detail-oriented supplier quality engineer to join our team. The main responsibilities of this role include finding and securing the best materials for our products, checking for defects, and working with suppliers to improve their processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviewing our manufacturing specifications to determine the materials needed for production.
- Researching and evaluating potential vendors to find the best materials.
- Visiting vendor facilities to observe their processes and ensure they meet our standards.
- Conducting regular quality control checks to make sure vendors are following our standards.
- Inspecting incoming materials for defects and ensuring overall quality.
- Testing and assessing products to identify any issues with quality.
- Keeping detailed records of supplier quality, including any defects or areas for improvement.
- Providing technical guidance to suppliers to help them improve their processes and reduce defects.
- Acting as a liaison between our company's management and suppliers to address any quality issues and find solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or logistics.
- Proven experience in manufacturing and working with suppliers.
- Strong skills in statistical analysis and quality assurance.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and government regulations.
- Experience with production processes and engineering principles.
- Ability to suggest improvements to make processes more efficient.
