Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced spa therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies for guests. This includes greeting and welcoming guests, informing them about spa packages and promotions, and customizing treatments to meet their individual needs. You may also be required to recommend additional services and products to guests.

To excel as a spa therapist, you should stay updated on the latest industry techniques for massages and therapies to provide exceptional customer service. You should also demonstrate respect, patience, and tact to make guests feel comfortable and at ease.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing various types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies
  • Maintaining detailed records of all services provided to each guest
  • Communicating with guests during massages to adjust techniques as needed
  • Resolving guest complaints and reporting accidents to your supervisor
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment before each use
  • Explaining services to guests and making recommendations as needed
  • Ensuring adequate supply of spa products and reporting shortages to your supervisor
  • Inquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing services

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • License in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics
  • Prior experience as a spa therapist
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Patience and respect for guests
