Job Description

We are seeking an experienced seamstress to mend, alter, and construct garments and other fabric items for our customers. This includes tasks such as replacing buttons, zippers, pockets, and linings, as well as modifying garment styles based on customers' requests. You should also be able to estimate the cost of making different garments, taking into account the time and materials needed.

In order to be successful as a seamstress, you should have a good understanding of different fabrics and sewing techniques. Above all, you should provide excellent customer service and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Taking accurate measurements of customers using tape measures to ensure a proper fit.
  • Keeping sewing machines and other equipment in good working condition.
