We are looking for a qualified rigger to set up and repair rigging for moving heavy equipment. As a rigger, you will get the materials ready, set up the rigging equipment, use heavy machinery, and take the rigging apart after the job. You will also need to work with the rigging team and follow safety rules and regulations.

To be successful as a rigger, you should know a lot about rigging equipment, have good spatial awareness, and communicate well. A good rigger is very careful when working on a construction site and always thinks about safety.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and make sure the heavy equipment is level and in the right place.
  • Choose the right rigging gear.

  • Look at the rigging before using it for the final time.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience as a rigger.
  • At least Level 1 NCCCO certification.
  • Know about OSHA safety rules.
  • Know a lot about rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
  • Good hearing and vision.
  • Can work at high places and in noisy places.
  • Good at math.
  • Fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
  • Can work outside in bad weather.
