Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to discuss product ideas.
- Conduct market research and evaluate similar products and their features.
- Collaborate with the engineering and marketing departments to determine the feasibility of product ideas.
- Improve existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs.
- Create design projects and specification sheets.
- Present product designs to management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the engineering of product prototypes.
- Test prototype products for functionality, ease-of-use, and durability.
- Solve any issues that arise with the products.
- Supervise the production process.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as an R&D Engineer.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Experience in marketing and design is preferred.
- Proficient in computer design software, such as AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills.
