What does a Quality Coordinator do?

A quality coordinator is responsible for making sure that a company's materials, production processes, procedures, and products or services meet certain standards set by the government and the company itself.

Job Description

We are looking for someone with experience in quality management to be our quality coordinator. This person will be in charge of checking materials, processes, and products to make sure they meet quality standards and regulations. They will also help create company policies and procedures related to quality and manage quality throughout the entire project process.

To be successful in this role, the quality coordinator must be able to ensure that everything meets the standards and quickly fix any problems that come up.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Making sure we follow the rules and regulations.
  • Keeping track of and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Creating tools for internal audits and performing them.
  • Using data to come up with solutions and making plans to improve quality.
  • Regularly checking to make sure employees are following quality and safety policies.
  • Helping develop company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Supporting departments with quality planning and assistance.
  • Teaching or helping with training on regulations and quality.
  • Keeping records and managing quality documents.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A degree in a related field.
  • Certification from the ASQ (American Society for Quality).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with quality systems.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication, people skills, and public speaking abilities.
  • Good at making decisions and solving problems.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
