We are looking for a friendly and motivated produce clerk to stock and arrange fruit and vegetables. Your responsibilities will include following health and safety regulations, ordering stock, making sure all produce is fresh, and providing excellent customer service. You should be able to lift, carry, climb ladders, squat, and stand for long periods of time.

To be successful as a produce clerk, you should have knowledge of different fruits and vegetables and be able to tell if they are ripe or spoiled. A great produce clerk should have a positive attitude and make sure customers have a great shopping experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greeting and helping customers with questions and recommendations.
  • Maintaining inventory levels, ordering and receiving stock, and noting any issues.
  • Stocking and rotating fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Ensuring all produce is safe and fresh to eat.
