Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy pool service technician to help maintain our customers' swimming pools. As a pool technician, your job will include traveling to our clients' locations, testing the pool's pH levels, adding chemicals, and repairing any problems with the pool, such as leaks or broken equipment.

To be successful as a pool service technician, you should have a good understanding of pool equipment and maintenance, be comfortable working with chemicals, and have excellent communication skills with clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive to customers' locations in our company vehicle
  • Maintain equipment and chemical stock levels in our store and in the vehicle
  • Test the pH and chlorine levels of the pool water
  • Add chemicals, such as acid and chlorine, to balance the pH levels
  • Clean the pool using authorized equipment
  • Replace light bulbs in underwater pool lights
  • Fix cracks or leaks in the pool's structure
  • Repair pipes and plumbing for pools and spas
  • Service and fix faulty pool cleaning equipment
  • Complete paperwork and report any service needs to management

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a pool technician
  • Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods
  • Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties
  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and equipment repair skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
